Web design & Front-End Development

Here is a selection of some of websites that I have developed using the the latest software and web design technics. I also like to keep in touch what's new and fresh in the world of web design.

  • Edinburgh Shiatsu Clinic

    The brief for Edinburgh Shiatsu Clinic was to come up with an easy to use CMS that had a fresh aesthetic feel to the front-end of the site. The site has various pages for news articles and gift deals, as well as a gallery section.

    Methodology

    Using Wordpress to deliver a functional, easy to use CMS that also has a modern and presentable aesthetic.

    Software Used

    Photoshop, CSSEdit, Wordpress, HTML, CSS and jQuery.

  • Stewart's Melville

    Working with closely with two clients to develop one website that took care of the needs for both the senior and junior squads at Stewart's Melville. The site runs on a Wordpress CMS with multiple taxonomies also including a web forum for the juniors that runs on the most recent version of bbPress.

    Methodology

    Using Wordpress to set up different pages of news post and gallery posts for both teams.

    Software Used

    Photoshop, CSSEdit, Wordpress, HTML, CSS and jQuery.

  • Edinburgh Scotmove

    I was commissioned to redesign this website and give it a different look and feel to other removal companies, something that is both graphic and illustrative. The site also comes with a quick contact form system that made with PHP.

    To have a website with an illustrative feel

  • Shiatsu Dee

    The Shiatsu Dee website is a small business site that needed to be both practical and creative, providing access to the clients services and a place that would reflect the ethos of the clients values and the aesthetics of the ancient practice of shiatsu.

  • Maryfeild Removals

    Is the sister site to Edinburgh Scotmove, it has roughly the same xhtml framework as Maryfeild Removals and a completely layout that was achieved with CSS

    To have a website with an illustrative feel

    XHTML, CSSEdit, PHP and Photoshop.

  • Bell Johnstone

    Built using Wordpress so the client can easily add to the site and update information that relates to the business. The re-branded site is clean, easy to use with it's breadcrumb navigation system and provides the user with easy access to all the information on the site.

  • Facts

    The Facts website is essentially made for people within and interested in the world of fleet commercial transport. Dilvering fresh content on a daily basis and delivering an excellent platform for relevant advertisers.

    Methodology

    Using Wordpress to deliver a magazine themed layout

    Software Used

    XHTML, CSSEdit Photoshop, Quicktime and VisualHub.

  • Brite Pixel

    The Brite Pixel webpage was created using a mixture of html, css and lots of java that gleamed for the web.

  • CSS Space Garden

    Using the Zen Garden's HTML template page I came up with a style sheet and graphics that where loosely based on the 1970s Film Silent Running. As yet I'm to hear if my application was successful, either way I'm very proud of how it turned out.

    To design the look of a pre-coded HTML page.
